Crusaders of Faith Gaming Community

Since a few days there is words and discussions about Crusaders of Faith and OmegaMilitia merging in one chain for a while and work together on battlefields and game. Today, i’m proud to announce that the merge have occurred a few minutes ago as TapaGeuR_CoF have made his commander OM-AsXif1. We currently don’t know how long this move will be and future updates between both alliance will comes in time.

On the battlefield aspect, OM don’t have out of chain allies so there is nothing new on this side. However, our chain is now bigger so be sure you don’t hit in-chain players. We encourage people to join and visit the forum of the other alliance so we can cooperate more effectively.

Recently I’ve installed the SMF Gallery addon for the forum and today i’ve started testing it with a few Companions members.  The first goal i have in mind for this gallery is to give a category to CoF members that already have a gallery set in the Renaissance Arts forum section.  If you want one or need one, please tell me and i’ll a category for you and grant you the access to manage it.

I’m planning to use the system so we can archives the arts and also share photos (permanently or temporary).  There is a comment system which can be really cool too.  All this is still under early stage but we will hopefully fill and build the sections all together.  All ideas are welcome to be discussed in the forum thread.

We may be soon entering into a difficult war with a strong alliance if their hostile actions continue toward us. I advise everyone to build up their storages as high as they reasonably can so that the enemy does not receive profit from us. Additionally, those of you with high-powered ships are encouraged to start building sizable fleets. Those of you without high-powers ships are encouraged to focus your resources on building defenses such as Plasma Towers and Rocket Launchers to debilitate potential enemy attacks on your planets. There is no such thing as too much defense.

The best offense is a strong defense, and if these actions continue, that will be our only opportunity of winning. If this war comes to be, it will be a war of attrition and persistence. We are heavily outclassed, but it is not the CoF way to go down without a fight. We must FIGHT to survive!

Some of you know i’ve been working since a long time on a design for the main page of CoF. Today, i’m proud to announce to you that i think it’s done. I’m scared to call this a launch cause i know i’ll continue to improve it over time. The site is based on WordPress, a blog/CMS that help build a dynamic web site in no time.
